T. Craig Sinclair is co-Director of SINCLAIR COLLECTIVE, a spatial researcher, and faculty at Syracuse University School of Architecture.

Craig’s personal and collaborative design works as part of SINCLAIR COLLECTIVE have participated in exhibitions across the globe, with institutions like the Istanbul Biennale, HAU in Berlin, Tactical Tech, NYCxDESIGN, and Mediamatic.

His writing on design, architecture, and technology has been published in MIT’s Thresholds Journal, CLOG, and ARCADE. Craig’s research specializes in transforming insights from the hard sciences into spatial experience. His latest research project explores scientific models for representing atmosphere and applying those insights towards an architectural analysis of data centers.

Professionally, Craig trained as an architect under artist Olafur Eliasson in Berlin and was a Fulbright Scholar in Norway. He holds a professional Master of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute and earned a B.A. in Philosophy with thesis honors at Linfield College, a liberal arts school in Oregon.

Lauren Sinclair, AIA

co-Director

Lauren Sinclair is co-Director of SINCLAIR COLLECTIVE, a registered architect in the state of New York, and an architecture critic whose work spans professional practice, cultural commentary, and the built environment.

Lauren has over a decade of technical design experience on complex project types. As Senior Designer at SOM New York, she worked on projects from international resorts to Manhattan skyscrapers, such as 175 Park Avenue. At Kinzo in Berlin, and Hyatt, Lauren specialized in crafting site-specific hospitality environments for brands like Nike and The Standard.

Lauren’s criticism reaches 40,000 followers and 1.5 million monthly views through her platform @industrythotleader where she uses her industry expertise for close readings of built work, construction culture, and the politics of architectural form for a general audience.

She holds a professional Master of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute and earned a B.A. in Psychology at Florida State University.
